Melofy is a singing practice app that allows you to upload songs, split them into segments, record your voice, and compare your recordings with the original. Account Information: When you sign up or log in to Melofy using your email, phone number, Google, or Apple account, we collect your name, email address, and/or phone number, depending on the sign-in method you choose.
Payment Information: If you make in-app purchases or subscribe to premium features via Razorpay, we collect billing information necessary to process your payment. This may include your name, payment method details, and transaction history. Razorpay processes this information directly, and we do not store your full payment details.
Contact Information: If you contact our support team, we may collect your name, email address, or other information you provide to assist you.
Non-Personal Information
Usage Data: We may collect anonymized data about how you interact with the App, such as which features you use, session duration, and app performance metrics. This data is collected through analytics tools like Firebase or Google Analytics and does not identify you personally.
Device Information: We may collect information about your device, such as the device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers, to ensure the App functions properly.
Recordings and Practice Data: Any songs you upload, voice recordings you create, or practice data generated within the App are stored locally on your device. Melofy does not upload, access, or analyze these files.

Create and manage your Melofy account, allowing you to sign in and access the App’s features.
Process in-app purchases and subscriptions through Razorpay.
Improve the App’s performance and user experience by analyzing anonymized usage data.

We do not use your information for advertising purposes, and we do not serve ads in the App.
3. Storage of Recordings and Data Privacy
Local Storage: All songs you upload, voice recordings you create, and practice data generated in Melofy are stored locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or process these files on our servers or any third-party servers.
Data Security: We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, such as encryption for data transmission during account creation, login, and payment processing. However, since recordings and practice data are stored on your device, you are responsible for securing your device against unauthorized access.
Data Retention: We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the App’s services or comply with legal obligations. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information from our systems, except for anonymized data used for analytics or data we are required to retain by law.
4. Use of Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services to support Melofy’s functionality. These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them:
Analytics Tools: We use Firebase and/or Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage data, such as app performance metrics and feature usage. These tools help us understand how users interact with the App so we can improve it. No personally identifiable information is shared with these tools.
Payment Processing: In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed through Razorpay, a secure payment gateway. Razorpay collects and processes your payment information according to its privacy policy. We do not store your full payment details, such as credit card numbers, on our servers.
Sign-In Services: If you sign in using Google or Apple, these services may collect information according to their respective privacy policies. We only receive the account information necessary to authenticate your login.
5. Payment and Subscription Policy
Melofy offers in-app purchases and subscriptions for premium features, processed securely through Razorpay. When you make a purchase or subscribe:
Razorpay collects and processes your payment information, such as your name and payment method details.
We store your transaction history to manage your subscription and provide access to purchased features.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the App or your device’s app store settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are subject to the policies of the app store (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and Razorpay.
6. Your Rights
Under privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA, you have certain rights regarding your personal information. These include:
Access: You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction: You can request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Deletion: You can request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal obligations that may require us to retain certain data.
