This Return & Refund Policy explains how we handle refunds for in-app purchases and subscriptions for premium features. We want to make sure you have a clear understanding of our policies, so please read this carefully. If you have any questions, our support team is here to help.

1. Melofy is a Digital Product

Melofy is a digital mobile app that provides free and premium features to help you practice singing. We do not ship or sell physical goods. All purchases, including in-app purchases and auto-renewing subscriptions, are for digital content and services accessible within the App.

2. Payments Processed via Melofy's Payment Gateway

All payments for Melofy’s premium features, including in-app purchases and subscriptions, are processed securely through Melofy’s payment gateway. This ensures safe and reliable transactions. We do not store your full payment details, such as credit card numbers, but we may retain transaction records to manage your purchases and subscriptions.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds for purchases and subscriptions made through Melofy are handled directly by Melofy’s refund policy. You may be eligible for a refund in the following cases:

  • Technical Issues: If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing purchased premium features (e.g., a bug that blocks access to premium content), and our support team cannot resolve the issue.

  • Accidental Purchases: If you accidentally purchase a feature or subscription, provided you contact us promptly (within 48 hours of the purchase) and have not used the premium features.

  • Legal Requirements: If applicable laws in your region (e.g., EU consumer protection laws) grant you a right to a refund, such as within a 14-day cooling-off period for digital purchases in the EU, provided you have not used the premium features extensively.

Refunds are processed at Melofy’s discretion and subject to the terms outlined in this policy.

4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team at support@melofy.com with the following details:

    • Your name and the email address or phone number associated with your Melofy account.

    • The transaction ID or receipt for the purchase (found in your purchase confirmation email or app store account).

    • A brief explanation of why you are requesting a refund.

  2. Submit your request within 48 hours of the purchase for accidental purchases, or as soon as possible for technical issues.

  3. Our support team will review your request and respond within 7 business days. If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days, though processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

5. Non-Refundable Cases

We do not offer refunds in the following situations:

  • Change of Mind: If you change your mind about a purchase or subscription after using the premium features.

  • Partial Use: If you have used the premium features or subscription benefits, even partially, during the billing period.

  • Expired Trials: If you fail to cancel a free trial before it converts to a paid subscription (see “Trial Period” below).

  • User Error: If the issue is due to improper use of the App, such as not following instructions or using an incompatible device.

6. Trial Period

Melofy may offer free trial periods for premium features or subscriptions. During the trial:

  • You can access premium features at no cost for the duration of the trial.

  • If you do not wish to continue with a paid subscription, you must cancel before the trial period ends. Instructions for cancellation are provided in the “Subscription Management” section below.

  • If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription, and you will be charged using the payment method provided. No refunds will be issued for subscriptions that begin after an expired trial.

7. Subscription Management

Melofy’s premium features may be accessed through auto-renewing subscriptions. To manage or cancel your subscription:

  • In-App Cancellation: Go to the App’s settings, locate the subscription management section, and follow the prompts to cancel.

  • App Store Cancellation: You can also cancel through your Google Play Store or Apple App Store account under your subscriptions settings.

  • Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds will be issued for the remaining portion of the billing period.

  • To avoid future billing, ensure you cancel at least 24 hours before the next renewal date.
